Today was a special day in K-3!Guests from a local dentist's office visited today to talk about taking care of our teeth. We learned all about brushing, flossing, and eating/drinking healthy foods that help our teeth.
We also learned what to expect when we go to the dentist!

After our special guests left, we did a little pretending ... we cut out teeth from yellow construction paper and discussed how teeth aren't supposed to be yellow! We needed to make our teeth white, so we pretended our paint brushes were toothbrushes, and we painted them white until there was no yellow left!
Hopefully our kiddos have learned how to take good care of their teeth!
